Freeway speed camera nabs 20,000 'absolute idiots' | Perth Now
surely alot of them were under 110 but thats not the point, the point is 20,000 in 5 god damn days that works out to something like 166 people each hour every day got caught!

If Cars could scream Rape, I'm sure yours just did because I just eye fuc&ed the shit out of the above images.
Hahaha damn straight ay, nah I dont really hit tonkin anymore. Pretty hilarious though and now they are putting a speed camera going the other way and apparently stationing actual police cars over the holidays. It will just be like the speed cameras that are now at intersections, most people only slow whilst crossing it then speed up again.
What speed on the freeway do they catch you at? I always go around 104 - 105 on the freeway, just because people are up my arse all the time

SO ITS U RB i get the sh*ts behind coz its 110 on the bruce and ur blocking the right lane... neck and neck with a barina in the left.
This is the most unbelievable part of the whole story.
"Police will allege a 28-year-old Mt Nasura man was driving a Holden Commodore at 199km/h in the 100km/h zone, while the 23-year-old Tapping man was allegedly nabbed travelling at 176km/h in his Mitsibishi Magna."
Crush the cars and lock'em up I say.
Im more suprised his magna could get up to 176

Lol...the southerly must have been blowing !
Or the Earth started spinning north-south.
Where on the freeway is it?
just up near hutton street
Pretty sure once youre doing a certain speed over your car does get taken/crushed... or that could be hoon laws I dont remember. Like some no brains in a ford on the way home today, weaving through traffic and overtaking up to 15 cars/trucks a time in the emergency lane -_-

It's things like this that spread urban myths or stories that become "fact".
Taken straight from the WAPOL website
On 1 January 2010, penalties for hoon behaviour were amended by the Road Traffic Amendment (Hoons) Act 2009.For any applicable offence police must impound a vehicle for 28 days for a first offence. For a second offence they must impound a vehicle for three months. Upon conviction for a third or subsequent offence, as well as the normal penalties for the offence, a court may also order the permanent confiscation of the vehicle or its impoundment for up to six months.
Permanent confiscation usually means the vehicle is auctioned off.
rear facing camera is not really that bad for bike riders, I just used to pop her up on 1 and sail past with my plate facing the road pretty much
