hey boys im moving too the Gold Coast in the next few weeks
just curious to see how many of you live on the goldy

I live out of the Goldy but and about 40mins from the beach. Am very familiar with the Gold Coast if you have any questions.

I just moved there too (between xmas and new year)! Southport Central complex, even with the 40minute drive to work now, LOVE IT!!

I,ve lived here for 33 years I have seen the coast change a lot but it's very hard to beat, I have been around Australia a fair bit it's a great place to live . But there's not a lot of work unless you r in the food and beverage industry , it's not far to go to go anywhere and some of the best weather (normally ) .

I tried to move there, that place is addictive. Very hard to find any work there... met a girl who slept with a woolworths store manager to get a job there.

So much illegal work up there as well and people still fight for it because they want that lifestyle, but hey working 40 hours a week with no insurance or super for $10 an hour thats cash in hand (and way under award) screw that.
