Santa's Final Preparation

Santa was preparing for his present delivery run, but required final approval from air traffic control. Alan Joyce was elected as the appropriate representative to inspect the sleigh, provide training and give Santa his briefing prior to the deliveries.#

Alan inspected the sleigh, made sure the sack was secure. He inspected Rudolph's nose. He tested the GPS and verified the black box was functioning.#

Santa then boarded the sleigh and asked Alan to join him. Alan took his seat next to Santa and prepared for the test flight.#

Santa looked down in horror and asked "what on earth do you have that thing for?" pointing at the shotgun on Alan's lap.#

Alan replied "Not meant to tell you this, but you're going to loose an engine on take off...."

Im not sure what that story is meant to be about?? would have been funnier if it had been Julia Gillard... then santa would have been delayed while she waited approval from the greens
