i do 400ks in the north west of Sydney 6 nights a week, so i will defiantly keep an eye out.

It's a mates car, he built the engine himself (using come and other goodies) and put a lot of time into it.

He had it parked right outside his window, not even a bad neighborhood, I have left my car(s) there before too.

Kinda puts a dampener on his and his three year old son's Xmas....(his son loves the car too, for a while there the only way to make him happy was to take him for a drive in the ss).

Thanks for all the support, please keep an eye out for any of the parts, it may even lead to the recovery of the rest of the car.

Yeah i have lived in a good area for the past 20years not one issue until my car broken into about 3months ago,and more break ins reported in the same street.
I think these tough times are to blame(that's not excuse for thieves we still should cut there fingers off, then try whatch them steal stuff)

Bad luck for your mate but even more reason for owners of older cars to get decent alarms on their cars. If it's like most half decent cars it will be stripped by now and some scum bag will cutting the body up with a grinder.

Wow, funny, must have taken a whole one brain cell to come up with that one......

Car has been recovered, A couple found it on a dirt road whilst walking their dogs, cops called the owner and told him where it was, unfortunately that's all the cops have/are going to do about it.

Not much damage thankfully, broken door (around door lock), broken steering surround and lock barrel. They didn't get very far thankfully, just a few kms to the other side of town.
