    from vicroads website.
i know your from NSW but i would consider it the same (ill check the rta website and update this)

CAR: You can drive a vehicle that does not exceed 4.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) and can seat up to 12 adults including the driver. This does not include motor cycles and motor trikes.
EDIT: this is from NSW RTA website

    Car

A 'Class C' licence covers vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM)
GVM is the maximum recommended weight a vehicle can be when loaded.
A 'Class C' Licence allows you to drive cars, utilities, vans, some light trucks, car-based motor tricycles, tractors and implements such as graders.
You can also drive vehicles that seat up to 12 adults, including the driver.
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that
