All "How Much?" questions when it comes to used cars can be answered in exactly the same way:
"You will get as much as someone is willing to pay for it..."
Thanks a load ClairBear. The only problem is that The average kms is 110,000 - 180,000 kms and the current one has only done 90xxx. So should I be getting something like $10,500 - $11,000?
2005 Mitsubishi Magna
Average Private Price+ $7,700 - $9,300
Trade In Price Guide+ $5,300 - $6,900
Average km+ 110,000 - 180,000
Price When New (RRP)+ $37,490
I cant believe that He paid that price for such a shitbox brand new...lol
if you have a quick look on ebay at the dealers $9k is the most expencive. The average kms is just a guide, yes yours does have low kms but is getting close to needing a major service.
As above said its worth what someone is willing to pay. The above prices I would say would probably be correct for you.
try the lads on a Mitsubishi forum as this is a Holden forum, might get a more accurate answer..
Depends on rust
Overall condition
Kms
Aftermarket Mods
Interior
Suspension
Etc Etc
you wont get 10 grand for a magna id say 6 maybe a little more, thats my opinion
You will be lucky to get 5. It's only a fagna.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
Magna's don't hold value and the timing belt is a big factor.

5ish ,according to dealers my 04 vzs only worth 5ish as a trade
Its a magna that needs a timing belt changed according to your first post. You might get 6-6.5 grand if your lucky but only because the k's are so low.
My bro's looking at Commodores and Falcons around this year/price and seriously they're a dime a dozen. There are just so many large V6 sedans up for private sales that resale value is not particularly strong.
So why doesnt he trade the magna in and get an 8
Because he wants to get the as much coin as he can to mod it. The money he gets from the Magna will be for mods...
and big mistake id rather of waited and got my 14k for it no way id take 5 for a vz
