Just wondering, whats the pay rate like here in NSW ? I've gotten offers of like... 55k per year + 9% super.. thats 2k less then my previous position in WA.
Thoughts and comments ???
you were on 57k a year in wa? dude that blows. im a maintaince/pipe fitter for a workshop of boiler makers and 1st class welders and they are pulling 70k a year with bugger all over time
Far out, I'm a TA scum on 65k a year.. Boilermakers here are on HEAPS, like 2g a week after tax..
But I'm in SA so this comment is pointless and a waste of time, BUT YOUR STILL READING IT!! :P
We live in a society where pizza gets to your house before the police.
Depends on the industry.
Mining will make heaps as a boilermaker, but if your working in general fabrication expect less than the miners.
$55k is a bit low though, I qualified as a 1st class, but now work in hydraulics, low voltage elecs, materials handling equip etc.
Making around $68k upwards depending on O/T.
