Tattoo removal

Anyone know much about or had a tattoo removal done? Wondering about pain factor and cost etc? I know you can get a cover ups done but unfortunately this one isnt as simple as that. Removal is my only option methinks

Funnily enough, removals aren't as simple as that, and is easier to get the design modified or covered over.

I'm not 100% sure but I thought it always left a scar, if it does maybe a cover up is a better option?

It really depends on the size and location of the tattoo you want removed....As most procedures are done via a laser it can be painful depending on where the tattoo is located.

My cousin had a smallish one removed from her ankle with laser, said it hurt like all hell and took several sessions, each session was about 20mins.
Cost her all up of $800 and the only thing you see from it is that the skin where her tattoo was is slightly darker but you only really notice it if she points it out too you.

Thanks for the linky Big Simmo Long story short I'm not a fan of jewellery and rings especially annoy me so what I thought was a good idea of getting my wedding ring tattooed on isnt such a good idea now. Its quite small and basic black but you can see my reasoning for wanting a removal over a cover up since the only option for a cover up is likely to be just getting the whole thing coloured in to cover the name but then I'd still be stuck with a tattooed ring >.< Ahh the stupidity of me haha

Seen many more blokes with their wedding rings tattooed than females so I dont think its just some lack of penis thing and yes the brains were a-lacking at the time unfortunately but we all make mistakes, just some are more permanant than others

in most cases blokes cant wear wedding rings all the time.. generally work where it could get caught and rip the finger off or annoy the wearer..

or tuning the admin chick with a nice rack :P
