Petrol switch to leave 750,000 motorists out of pocket
My VE is 10% capable, but I don't like using the stuff.
Thoughts?
Use premium? It is like $3 more a fill, if things are that tight, sell the car and catch a bus.

Regular unleaded is for torching the next door neighbours cat that keeps walking over your car. Isn't it?

We can afford premium and would never touch that ethanol crap but I'm still a bit miffed, I don't see any reason to get rid of it whats the point?
My thoughts exactly.
But what annoys me, is that 15kms in a circular direction where I live, premium is 20cents dearer than regular. I could understand up to 5cent difference between all 3, but 20 cents is just gouging.
I thought the government were going to start regulating, or was that monitoring?

There is other fuel other than 98??
Well I think its shit, even though I only ever use 98 octane. A lot of people I know won't touch the E10 stuff, but also find it a bit tight to pay the extra $10 a tank for 98, (or in my brother case, about $25 per fill thanks to his 170L Prado fuel tank). What this means is they will always use Coles or Woolworths servos with the dockets. This will cause shit for the small independants and may cause some of them to close. And when that happens watch the Coles and Woolies prices rise more.

Those fuel saver dockets are the biggest farce. The government needs to step in and get rid of that stuff asap.
