How to destroy your RR Phantom Drophead Coupe......without even trying!

Rolls-Royce rain damage could cost $100k

    Sad!

Hate hearing about beautiful cars being completely neglected by their mega rich owners! They're the only ones who can afford them but they never appreciate them for what they are!

LOL!!! Sacasm? It's some of the best leather in the world! Not to mention the REAL woodgrain, regardless of whether you like the look or not. There hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in the creation (by hand) of a Rolls Royce.

It may be expensive but it looks like a bucket of crap. Atleast now it's practical in the way it can be used as a spa.

If you dryed it within a few hours it would be fine. Its just clean water, even if you left it too long and the leather went hard theres products that do a great job to re-condition them. The woodgrain is clear coated. I dont see the problem.

The biggest problem would be if the water didnt get dried straight away, it can form mould int he carpet.

Rain water is never clean, it always picks up dust particles.

    X2

I can't believe some goose designed a car, then charged a million dollars and couldn't fit a rain sensor that is a option on a car worth $30,000!

There's no such thing as clean water. All rain is slightly acidic due to the presence of Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide and Sulphur Dioxide in the atmosphere.
