As long as it's not illegal I don't see the issue. They are meant to be "undercover" no?

It's well known the tactics the police force use. Goading people to race in hotted up imports, car's with P plates. Not much you can do considering there is no entrapment law in Australia.

Shouldn't matter what they drive, do the crime then do the time. Also if you get baited into a race by an unmarked cop then you could have gotten baited into a race by a normal everyday stranger also, which is just as illegal. Street racing is dangerous to others on the road and I have no sympathy for anyone that gets caught doing it no matter how they are caught.

Baiting should be illegal, in order for a charge to be laid the police have to first engage in a activity that is deemed illegal. The end doesn't justify the means.
    Is this it?

So if there are no other road users in the vincinity of the area, street racing isn't dangerous?

I think its completely justifiable... i mean its not like there are any other criminals out there for them to catch so they are just trying to round up the only ones left

I saw a VZ SSZ ute with a maloo front bar in Heathcote (NSW), about a week ago now. Had the big strip of LED lights ontop of the dash and the two lights either side of the rear number plates.

Just remember that those lights arent reserved for police only, anybody can have them depending on the colour. I have a set of Amber ones myself.

I've seen a few undercover cars that you wouldnt think would be.

Bright Yellow VE SS Ute with Canopy Lowered.
    Black Chrysler 300C SRT8
Orange F6 typhoon with a blow off valve.

The cop in the typhoon was trying to get me going on a empty road at about 2-3ish just on and off the accelerator. Only noticed he was a cop because my girlfriend noticed his uniform.

They are in all different cars now their really is no telling unless you have a keen eye.

The bright yellow tradie car had the headlights and back lights flashing blue and red as well as next the number plates. Now Thats effed lolz

Is there a "spotted" Unmarked cop thread? If not we should start one.

Cops better hide their undercover cars better. All you guys can spot them a mile away it seems.

I wonder if they do drug stings in said undercover cars with all the lights/equipment on the dash..?

Obey the rules of the road and there should be no need to worry about these tricksters.

In saying that, imo it is pretty slack to wear p plates and go undercover.

    Hmm
