    Default bedfor with red motor problems

    alright so i have a bedford van with a red motor it runs if i put fuel down the carby but fuel isnt getting from the tank too the fuel bowl hellllppppp
    my cars full of german shephard try and steal it buddy

    You may have a blocked line or a blocked pick up in the tank. I had the exact same problem with my Bedford with a Holden red in it years ago.

    Other than that, it could be the fuel pump, or the needle and seat in the carby is stuck.

    how would i go about fixing it the guy i got it off said it was runng when he left it so dunno if that helps

    does the fuel pump have one of those glass bowl tops ?

    if it does, you should see fuel in it. If no fuel then there either is a blockage in the fuel line/pickup or the pump isn't working. From memory there was a filter under the glass bowl too - it could be blocked. Wasn't unusual for the pump lever that runs off the camshaft to break on the old Holdens

    yea it looks like that i checked the pump lever it was so i spose now i should clean all the lines??

    check that there are no cracks in the fuel line, if there are, then it will be sucking air and no fuel.

    other than that, what the others have suggested should sort it.
