Default Rego fees in your state

What's everyone paying for rego these days. I payed $1120 for twelve months 03 v8 ute recently. Does it fluctuate much in different States and Territories? I didn't check out third party rates, just payed what the fee was.

bloody hell..... rego has gone up another $100.
I paid a little over $1000 back in September last year for the Commodore.
is ridiculous how we pay for number of cylinders rather than vehicle weight in Qld. A turbo 4cyl diesel 2.5 tonne 4WD costs about half the rego of my 1380kg Commodore. Antiquated fckn system.

Slightly on and off the OP's topic. But am i the only one that thinks the stickers we get today are full on crap and stick to nothing?. That is here in Victoria. And it's not just one car of any age it's many not just mine I've seen it.

SA gets rorted on commercial rego for all utes also, regardless if for business use or not. The ute was just over $1k for 12 months. Sadly my new ride won't be much cheaper even thought its a sedan.

And to the above; stickers have now been abolished in SA and WA..... Now more sticky windows

a couple of years ago we had a batch that curled up and fell off after a week in the sun.
Now they stick, but if your car sits in the sun, the sticker fades so bad that you can't read them. Maybe not such a bad thing if you are late with your rego lol

Woops, probably should add that its wreck reg (for the motorbike), not road reg. But the other reason is that I live in the country, not in town, thats why my regos are cheaper then most.
