Blue slip!

Hey, just wondering if my car will pass a blue slip if it has an engine from another car in it?
I had the engine changed by a mate and he didnt give me the VIN number from the other car.. its from a VS wagon he wrote off.. How much trouble will I have getting it passed?

the engine wont be a problem for a blue slip as long as it belongs in that car. The only thing is you will need a receipt for it to prove ownership of it at the rta or whatever its called now.

x2, get a bill of sale for the engine with the engine number on it and the vin it came from.... should be sweet...
