played it for a while then just stopped playing it
started again not long ago and now im back into it
what are your favorite cars and why?
how many cars have you got?
how much money?
fastest car?
fastest lap on mid field? or on any track

my favorites are -
all the aussie cars but i have to say especially the xr 8 supercar.

ive got 54 cars at the moment and about 4.6 million
my fastest car is my r34 skyline at 8.672 down the 1/4 which is all that its really good for. i hate the 4wd handling, give me fr anyday

my fastest lap on midfield is 1'03.487 with the xr 8 at the moment, havent tryed all the cars though

Juzza and I were well into it but lost interest our fastest car was the peugeot rally car the older one with 400kw it only weighed 900kg and ran high 7 second passes. My favourite was the commodore or the monaro/GTO which was a joy to drive (ran 10.2 seconds).

3 questions juzza... 1 what is with pic 2? is that a glitch? and 2 that blue and white car i had it and my little brother sold it i cant remember where i got it from and i need it to 100% the game only 1 endurance race left 24hr one...and 3 how do u get pics from the game to your computer?

does anyone have the driving force pro?
i got it when i first got the game
thats what probably what put me off playing it. had it for a week and thought this is great, then it started playing up, it would loose power all of a sudden or wouldnt brake (great when your in the middle of a championship)
so i took it back and exchanged it for another one. the next one lasted 3 weeks then did the same thing, took that back got another. then that one f***ed up, really p*ssed off i took it back and got my money back. they reckon they tested it and there was no problem so i didnt buy another
anyone else have the same problem?

admitably its mostly ricer but they have a couple of good cars [ nothing aussie :'( ] but i like the feel of forza a lot more than with gt4.

get over forza that doesn't compare to gt4
- the graphics in forza sad unlike gt quality
- the handling an physics are poor
an the power to adjust your setting in every detail

an i know you don't know how to drive a car in gt (setting up for a corner) or adjusting the car to fix it weak points

i like the setting up of cars, I seem to have a knack for it except for mid engine rwd they are a mystery to me lol, but give me a rwd front engined car and i'll do some insane sh1t haha like I beat some gt1's around el capitan with the new viper lmao that was priceless

i think the weak points of gt4 are you cant mix and match parts
like a non turbo car cant have a turbo
twin turbo ls1 anyone? so long skyline
theres to many jap cars!
rear wheel drive all the way
plus other reasons i cant think of

The screenshots I put up I took with the games camera mode thing (both from replays, the datsun I got uber airborn and the black nissan GT1 is mine with the one next to it lined up for an artsy pic [bought it on day 700 in the used car lot for millions]).. used a USB thumb drive to transfer the pic across (was troublesome to say the least)

I find it difficult to keep my drifting car (yellow FD RX7) on the road but sometimes can pull it off and the result is just that satisfying..

Fastest car I'd say Peugeot rally car from the 80s with stage 4 turbs or me Audi R8.. the Minolta I don't like very much, hoping the Sauber is much better car..

Favorites are the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and I already said the FD RX7.. can't say I like the Aussie cars too much, problem with them being they're too heavy.. wish there were a VB - VL model or Torana even, would be hilarious fun then..

Game completion I guess it's at past 40%, but I havn't played it in months.. I should soon

I thought you could use a game shark or similar device to build hybrid cars? like a twin turbo LS1 coz you could do it in past games. There is a funny trick with gran turismo3 where you change all the down force on the escudo to the back and make the spring rates all soft and it could do wheelies on the test track and hit 1200km/h LOL that was ridiculous haha

read my post, i said i like the feel of forza more, not

and graphics smaphics, forza still looks good without trying for photo realisim.

that looks pretty good to me. oh and wait for PGR3, gt4 will be going down.

i personally think the physics in forza are spot on, GT4 was designed as a out and out "grip" racer, forza follows that idea [ focusing on technique ] but it's hints of "arcadyness" enable nice sideways action
and forza lets you peform neumorus adjustments to the car, suspension, angles, lsd setting, gear ratio etc. and i think thats plenty of tweaking.

but you missed your favorite argument, nos. and my reply to that is so what? its overrated and doesnt make the car feel like its going any faster. besides i see nos as a simple too to help recover from a spinout or other time wasting mistake, but then with no such function in forza the focus is on driving at the limit without loosing it. so i say that makes the player better at the game quicker.

end of the story? hug your ps2. i'll hug my xbox. thats all there is to it.

I agree with Patrio7, im just over 75% through GT4 with something like a 99.3% win loss ratio, my mate has an xbox with forza, and well, im converted. I was dead set that GT4 killed forza, but after playing forza, i reckon its a better game in general. Both games do have upsides and downsides to them, and, well, ill deal with it.

The guy that designed GT4 designs the game for himself, and he HOPES everyone else will like it, which they dont, but there is still WAAAAAAYY too many skylines in the game.
