    Default ACA vs Today Tonight

Well im not a huge fan of tv, i decided i'd flick the box on and see what was on, i couldnt help but to think what a poor state our aussie media is in, channel 9 showing a mad woman and her rubbish dump(treasures) flick to C7 and same bloody story, thought must be a cool story, flick back to ACA and a story about kIng Kong movie, thought boring, flick back to TT and amazing same story. Why bother having these shows?

Does anyone actually waste their time watching this garbage they call Current Affairs?

Definately not - compare it to something like 60 minutes, hard hitting investigative reporting that actually -most- of the time tells us something interesting.

On the other hand theres Today Tonight and A current affair, hoons hoons hoons, petty story petty story, slow news week lets go hassle some hoons with old footage again.

Even 60 minutes is setup alot of the time. I remember getting back from E Timor, i remember them shooting on site and reporting asking alot of questions, we were forced to allow them to tag on recces etc. Wheni finally got to see the final story i seriously couldnt beleive how much shit that a. didnt happen b. May of happened in their dreams and c.who the freakin soldiers were in the said section/company/battalion/regiment. It was really quite sad

'........but i shouldnt have to read the fine print'
'it says it clearly on the back'

i find the internet far superior to tv most of the time. there are a few exceptions though. mythbusters, spicks and specks, and that's it for now.

A Current Affair and Today Tonight are both complete crap, i honestly don't know what sort of people enjoy watching it?
They have an advantage in that nothing else good is on (unless you like neighbours ) at 6.30, so a lot of people probably just turn it on cos its there

Whats the use of Tv ? when you've got broadband ?

I hardly ever watch "The Goggle Box" anymore... I only watch TV through my puters TV card whenever I feel like it...
