Disaster!

Last night.. wasn't such a good night..

First of all, (for you melbourne members you would know where im talking about) drive to mornington to meet up with a friend.. we had a few cars going. To make one thing better, my mate in his XR6 (mildly worked) gets pulled up and cops a canary.. so we bugger off away from mornington.

Get to hastings (my home town) talking for a while.. then leave.. my car plays up.. I get maybe 500 meters.. and my transmission BLEW.

Not only am I now stuck without any car, but to ad major insult to injury - the first steel cable towrope snapped.. and took us about half an hour to figure out how to secure the second towrope.. and whats better.. I was towed by my mates XR6.

So while it costs $990 for a second hand swap-over transmission with my mechanic.. the VK Commodore I used to own is URGENTLY needing selling $800 ONO.

Are you the bloke who's trannie was playing up before the cruise? Get it rebuilt with kevlar clutches and a shift kit and it will last for donkeys years and go harder too. Good luck with it man.

if I had money.. I would be! at the moment i am as broke as a porcelian doll dropped from the eiffel tower.

My plans are to sell the VK, get a good second hand swap-over, get a stage 2 shift kit and a 1,500RPM Stall convertor.

I think they come standard with a 1,500 stally (could be wrong tho) go for at least a 2,500. it'll launch aye.
