SD set top box free to air.
Hi all wondering how many out there have widescreen tv's with set top boxes? Its pretty mad watchin ya fav shows and movies in widescreen aye.

Yeah I got one. Its great could never go back to standard now. Still cant work out HD tho. Either doesnt play or it does but the frame rate is to slow........

Yeah ya need a real snazzy plama to use digital otherwise it just dumbs down the signal to SD. Digital tv is great tho and its true would be hard to go back to normal. Waiting for the motorsport year to start should be something special.

Yeh they still havent implimented all the features they promised when it was first released tho, like picture in picture, abillity to pick camera angles, etc.

digital is great. ive got hd and it is sweet. some of the programs look unbelievable. just sucks that not everything is in hd. luckely its improving quickly.
im looking at getting a hd card for my pc as i am moving soon and wont have foxtel any more. i have an 80cm lcd tv that i use as a monitor too.my pc will soon be an all round media player, 7.1 sound and dvd plus hd tv webcam and stuff.
should be fun.

Yeah i had one...TEAC $200...came with 12 month warranty, lasted 14 months and died. They wanted $186 to "fix" it. "Hmmm.......no", was my response as they now retail for $150 brand new. So now im watchin shows on me widescreen old skool styles.
They said to fix it they needed to replace the "motherboard". when i got it back i opened it up and the motherboard was the only internal part!! It housed everything, the only thing i would have kept was the casing and the plugs on it. So basically the were replacing it old for new, except for the original casing on it and charging me an extra $36 for it.

Its absolutely fab, cant wait to chuck the new xbox on it also.

i love my plasmaits the best invention ever for playin x box because split screen is MASSIVE on most wanted lol
