I swear I just wanted a race officer ;)

Good to see that Victoria's revenue is being used so constructively.

Jake :)

Yeh they patrol around the CBD at 40 Ks an hour!

Still would love the be the cop with the big grin !

Awesome, I just had to post it when I came across the image. I reckon I'd find a reason to chase someone Paul, even in the CBD :p

Cheers

Jake :)

Yeah ive seen it around too. I was stopped at the traffic lights in St Kilda Rd about 12 months ago and it pulled up beside me. The cop was having a good look at my car as if he was sussin it out, then the lights turned green, and he was off.

Should have dragged him off (well attempted to) Dont think i would have gotten far in either cursimstance.

The thing thats shits me tho, is tha fact that they basically used up the plates 'hsvgto'. Like why does a cop car need those plates?

Exactly, especially a marked car, I don't see the point in it at all. Sure it would make a great unmarked highway patrol but lapping through the CBD? Sounds like someone within the VIC department is reliving his/her youth. :p

Not 100% on this, but one my mate rekons that the car was probably donated to the coppers either through a dealer, or through someone who they helped etc.

THe reason he thinks this, is because he works with fleet car rentals and purchases, and theres no way they would allow VicPolice to officially buy one for Police duty using state money.

This would also explain the number plates... bit of promo work?

Please officer, pull me over and take me for a ride back to the station!!

Well I hope it was donated, but they'd pay for it in no time with the amount of dodgy speed camera's around.

Doesn't need the plates, just keep your eyes peeled, when its reached the end of its service it'll get auctioned off, policed kitted gto.. nice;)
