    Default My hubby's new bike

I thought i would post a pic of hubbys new toy. This isnt his actual bike as have yet to take one. The pic is different to his bike as he has a fender eliminator.

A sad day in the life of a bike owner is the first time they drop it or lay it on it's side at speed and scratch it but they are so much fun.

A nice looking machine and if it was mine I would be on it day and night.

A sad day too when your best mate steals it while drunk and drops 50m up the road. or the day an unregistered and uninsured lady cleans you up while taking a leisurely cruise. But i still love bikes and would give my left nut for a bike like that.

Very nice....those things must be a blast to ride...nothing like having more horsepower than kilograms weight...isn't it something like 170hp and 150 kg? Or is it the other way around? Who cares when you are talking figures like that....

And I think my old '74 H2-750 triple is quick with 80hp and 180kg.... ...it is a 2-stroke though...

Get him to invest in some Oggy Knobs (or similar)...those frame protector things which look like nylon ping pong balls or skateboard wheels...they can save a huge amount of damage in a step-off or simple parking lot topple...cheap insurance

It is 175 hp and 173 kgs. It does 160 in 1st apparently as it is brand new is running it in. He needs to ride up to NT so he can see what she can do.

Very nice bike indeed. I'll tell you what, after riding the '05 Kawasaki ZX10-R which is very similar to power weight ratio with the R1, GSX-R & Fireblade i had the biggest adrenilin rush ever & your husband has definately got a need for speed, absolute powerhouse. I don't mind being alive at the moment therefore i don't wish to have one........just yet.
This is a picture of the ZX10-R & Toby Prices factory works KX250F.
