Hey guys if you haven't heard already theres a new MSN messenger coming out its only in beta yet but there are invites going out to people i have some spare invites if you would like one just leave a comment with your MSN addie and i will send you one i have no need for them

If you would like a invite to this and i send you one a Positive Rep point wouldn't go astray lol

ok ive just installed "live" and its all good.
so how do i know if i have invites that i can hand out?

you will get an email saying you have 5 invites & instructions on how to give them out. Im sorry Ive used all mine.


Also Please note... if you have more than one person using messenger... IE shared computers.. all users will need to register to use the beta version... otherwise they will be unable to log in.

should also say it's only good for single users, if your pc is used for multiple useres, i.e. like the pc im using at the moment, has 4 users on it, my mum, dad, sister and me, well, it's only gonna work for me, and the others are unable to log into msn, something to think about

Well I beg to differ on the issue of multiple users signing in. Both my son's have successfully signed in using their accounts on this box.

Might I suggest not putting up email addresses in posts, at least put some spaces in as spammers love this kind of stuff or simply PM the person.

I'm interested in knowing whether anyone has had any problems using MSN with a different address other than hotmail, I've tried inviting my mum using a jc address and it doesn't appear to have worked.

Invite sent, I've got about 5 left now, I didn't think it would be that popular.

In the time i just had it installed and running.. it was VERY unstable, crashed about 3-4 times. was away getting a drink, come back and i was dead.

im reverting back to MSN 7. Thanks anyway darren.

Bextor, cosmetically I didn't see many differences, but then again, I looked for things that stood out. I think the beta version is only more for better features/more features.

Really I never had that problem with crashes, I've had issue's where MSN just won't go away but that's happened way before this beta came out.
