You dont have to go all out for schoolies. How bout you and some mates just head to the coast, get an appartment for the week or weekend some drinks a few snags and party hard!!

$900 for schoolies? Are u planning strippers? all u need is a swag (maybe a tent), enough booze and money for maccas every day. I missed my schoolies for work reasons and i am regretting it everyday. Alot of my mates had the bare essentials and had a bloody good time

Gotta go schoolies. You have all your life to own a car....
Or buy the car, stuff the townhouse, live out of the car or just go to a backpackers.
I did that and we had some wild times

I went to schoolies in 2005 on the Gold Coast and didnt cost me $900!!!
My accomodation was $550 and you seriously wont spend $200 on alcohol. I got smashed pretty much every night (1 week) and didnt spend that much. A couple nights only had a few drinks and headed to the beach etc etc.
Do schoolies, its a great time.. pack the water bombs and chuck them off your balcony, ahhh the good times.

Damn, mine was about 120 for accomodation for 4-5 nights. Alcohol was maybe, 100 or so. And I spent 50 or so on groceries before I left. Cheap as chips.

Me and 3 of my best mates got together for our schoolies trip - we didnt go to the Gold Coast, we went to Caloundra (Sunshine Coast) because one of their aunts owns an apartment there - $50 each for the week. Yeah, it wasnt as glamorous, there were no huge parties every night, but we knew a group of girls who were staying just around the corner so we had our own parties and made it work!
Some others went to the Gold Coast, and they definitely didnt pay that much - their rooms were tents, and they had a blast.

ah, screw schoolies, just kick back with some mates, no need to do the typical go and get drunk thing for 1 full week, do something different. schoolies has now become a tourist thing, people trying to cash in on young teenage kiddies out to celerbrate their end of secondary studies,
but on the same note, you will have the rest of your life to save up and buy the perfect vl, you never know, ya might even see some other car you like.

Go to schoolies. You'll have an awesome time. VLs have been around this long, I'm sure a few more months won't hurt!
