I bid for an item on ebay and won it, but ive really changed my mind and dont particually want it anymore. Is there anyway to get out of it, like giving it to the 2nd highest bidder? I feel really bad about it now.
yeh, they can offer a second chance to the other bidders, you will probably recieve negative feedback
there was only one other bidder, $1 difference, do i just message the seller?
i buy tonns of shit of ebay.
yeah just message the seller and explain to him, he might be generous, but if hes like me he will just give you negative feedback and leave you as a non-paying bidder.
think before bidding mate.

ok, thanks. I dont think i'll ever try online auctions again.
What did you buy? was it an expensive item? does the seller sell lots of these items or was it a one off thing?
I just recently did the same thing for a phone that I lost and I had won 2 accessories for it (charger and data cable). I just sent them an email explaining that I had lost my phone and have been looking for it for days but no joy, I have sent them this email everytime they send me a payment reminder (6 times) and they still keep sending me payment reminders (I think they don't speak english or something, they are overseas).
When you bid on Ebay, you do get a screen stating that by continuing you are committing to a purchase, its like a contract.
The seller has a right to be peeved if you win his/her auction, then change your mind. Why don't you just honour your bid, then relist it yourself on Ebay?
