I have just watched it go from 111 bids to 119 in like 2 mins LOL this is MAD!
I'm insanely jealous that someone has too much money to waste that amount on a car *sighs.

Thought that auction would get a lot of attention, it's been in the media a fair bit lately.
Although some of the bidders have some history, there's no way known it will go for $200k, even after another 9 days . I'll guarantee ebay/holden will revise the bidders, and may even change it so that only pre-approved bidders can bid on it.
I'll be interested to see what it really goes for though.
EDIT: Just went up to $240k while I was typing this reply. "worldcuprugby" and "klang33" must be loaded.

whlie reading this and typing my reply and looking at the auction, it has jumped upto $250,100 i reckon that puppy will go for close to 500k

On Ebay, all bids are a contract. With this auction, they're protecting themselves even more with a verification process before accepting your bid.
So, if you win it, you MUST come up with the dosh.
BTW - In Victoria, stamp duty on cars is 4% of cost....
