Hey just wondering if ne1 on here is an air con/ fridgy mechanic in brisbane? As i reeeeeeally want to do an apprenticeship!

hate to burst the bubble champ, but im a refrigeration electrician, and trust me when i say this, the trade is a joke, ive left it, back to normal electrical type work

if you realy wanna get yourself into this trade try calling the likes of the companys i list below

frigerite
bakers
austral
all trades queensland

give them all a call, alway's screaming out for people to become a apprentice.
dont go for the small fella's, like queensland re-fridge and aircon, try your hardest for the big guy's. prove your keen, keep calling them, send resume in even if they say no, keep on their back, and when they get the shits with ya and say yeah come on in and start, prove you are as keen as musterd, alway's turn up 20 min's early and leave when everyone else leaves, never say no to working over time, and alway's say yes to working away.

frigerite, bakers, austral all work away aswell, i did the woolworths and aldi down at the westfields at helensvale last year, and the baker boys were from sydney, so yeah, you can expect to work away.

frigerite (and no it's not spelt wrong) pay e.b.a rates, as to austral, bakers dont, bakers have better site alowances, and less working hours than the other 2,

so there ya go, give that a try, if that dont work, let me know, still know a few fellas in austral and bakers i can call and get ya in to see
