Without getting too technical, Tooheys Extra Dry seems to be the brew of choice thats most likely to be found in the fridge. Apart from that I'm easy with the imports.

Stella (for actual beers) or Guinness (not really a beer, but hey)..
For locals, Hahn Premium is awesome.. Don't mind a Crowny or Boags Premium though..

anything from belgium, the best beers in the world. jupiler, duvel, they're all good. although paying $16 for a slab of heineken or grolsch is pretty sweet too
