I know this IS car-related but wasn't sure where to post this -s o here goes. I'm trying to find out what the engine part is called which apparently is

"the part of engine water jacket where the coolant is taken from the engine to the radiator; the thermostat is usually situated there".

Is this called a water box, or is there a proper name for it?
