Ricers think they are god's gift?

First of all this isnt a general Import bashing thread, its a general ricer bashing thread.

I swear half of these idiots think they are all gods or something.

Man whenever I go to Boostcruising or some other import based forum theres always some tosser bragging about how bad ass he is that he can beat V8 Commos or Falcons in his riced up Integra or something.

I know that there are Imports around that will give Commos and Falcons a serious hiding but how is anyone suppose to take someone who "Allegedly" beats V8 Commos and Falcons in riced up Pulsars,Integras,Lasers,Lancers etc seriously?

But the thing that annoys me about these tools is how they brag about beating stock Auto N/A VLs, I mean I love VLs and all but Autos arent all that fast and these idiots act as if they just beat a Enzo Ferrari.

I think the government should just ban ricers instead of performance cars because these idiots are more likely to die from ego stroke than actually wrapping themselves around a pole.

Well in some cars the autos will get you over 1/4 mile faster (read: ferraris etc) because their change system is so good, however a VL isnt a ferrari.

There are a lot of ******** commy drivers as well, and before i continue i am going to appologise for the members who get offended at this but it needs to be said...The people who give commodore drivers a bad name are the "omg sik u leh" VL and VN drivers who think they are king dingaling. It just makes me cry (well not really), who do thy think they are, they are as bad (or worse) as the ricers that are around.
The way i see it is regardless of the car you drive you drive it how the car should br driven (if that makes sense). Throaty v8's should idle like a lion at the lights and make heads turn on takeoff, v6's should generally be driven quietly because they are the younger brother of the v8s.
Performance Jap cars (read: WRX Sti type cars) have their place, they sit just bellow the v8 in the sense that they are often very load and have the performance to back it up. The lancers and tincans should be quiet, never seen, never heard.

Nah im not one of those "Sik uleh VL drivers" im also aware that alot of Commodore drivers are d***heads.

Its not being biased, its the truth and it pisses me off just as much as Commodore drivers acting the same way.

I think the main reason why it pisses me off so much is they label all Commodore owners as morons that think they can beat everything in their Auto VKs,VLs and VNs, then after that the ricers come onto forums and brag about how bad they are that they can smoke stock V6s, its the same shit as what the d***head Commodores guys do, then they try to make it out as if they are in the right.

I had some wanker in a Suzuki Swift sit right up my ass once when I was going for a drive so when I pulled over the moron decided to act like a hero and floor it past me only problem was the d***head missed 3rd gear so he looked like a hell big idiot.

Another time I was up driving near a mate's house when these 2 guys in a purple Excel came out of a street like a bat out of hell and sat right up my ass reving the shit out of it to make me go faster so I just slowed down more and more.

Like I said before I have no problems with Jap cars, actually its not really the cars its the idiots that drive them.

I hear what you're saying but im also talking about in real life aswell.

Without failure if I go for a drive in my VL and I pull up at a set of traffic lights P Platers in a Pulsar or something pull up next to me they want a run because I own a rather attractive looking VL.

Its happened a few times and I just let the pricks go for their life and I just watch them make fools out of themselves.

Also im not a angel I do floor it sometimes when im in backstreets and I have done a few screechies but one thing I dont do is drag off at the traffic lights, if I want to drag i'll go to the strip.

I agree with you on the fact its the driver not the car, and that goes back to what i was saying about driving the car with respect to what the car is. Some jap cars have the right to have a go at a set of lights but others dont.
As for the idiots to tailgate/intimidate they are just idiots regardless of the car.

Surprisenly in the time ive hung out at Skyline forums it isnt that bad.

Boostcruising is the place it all happens at because everyone there own all types of cars so conflicts between ricers and bogans happen quite alot.

There was this one dude who said that he beat a VL Turbo off the mark in a stock Excel wtf? lol fair enough if the Excel was modded but a stock one beating a 150KW VL Turbo? lol I think someone is stretching the truth.

He said he can barely keep pace with a lot of those WRX's and Evo's.. I've read a lot about the evo's and things in magazines, I certainly wouldn't mind having one..

A guy from work reckons his ricer (Silvia) handled awesome and way better then a commodore, he crashed. I was following him, saw the whole thing.

He dropped it into 2nd, went through the round about hit the curb, lost control, snapped a tree in half and landed on the other side of the road.

You cant compare a commodore to a turbo. Its like comparing an apple to a banana.
