    Default Sad But True

Unfortunately, so far I have been unemployed since mid December, im not loving it, and (for those of you who think im bludging it!) im actively looking for employment!

I am ditching the VN Calais/Berlina rims for "steelies" I have a set of the inteceptor rims that came on the VR, they will be polished up and tires always blackened but the WORST part about this, i am going RETREAD! Simply for the fact if I do get into tyre frying, it's only $50 a hit, and if I fry one side, I can always do a Left to Right swapover (I hate non LSD).

For those of you who critisize retread burnouts, I have done a few burnouts on retreads, and so far no problems.. to the point I have sat on the spot for about 15 seconds full noise.

It's people like you that make me laugh. I am NOT wasting taxpayers money, there is nothing more I want than a job!

I just can't be bothered running directionals and trying to keep my rims clean anymore. I need new tires, im going to retreads.

so why rave about burnouts and retreads are cheaper for that reason. and there are places that sell tyres from written off cars and also tyres from car yards where customers swap standard rims for mags. these tyre shops get hold of these tyres that have only been used for test drives and driving around the lot and sell them cheap. safer than retreads. i got a set of 215x7x15s for 60 70 bucks each.

Well I would look at it this way unfortunately mate. The government is giving you money while your out of work for bills, food, clothing, etc not to go and smoke up.........

    safer than retreads??

Retreads are speed tested to over 200kph, and the government place the 140 speed limit on them.

as long as you don't blow the retread, it'll be fine. Personally i don't blow any tyre on my car, i stop when there on wire. I've done burnouts on all tyres, retreads, brand new, 2nd hand, and even on the most expensive 18s i could find. Personally i prefer new tyres, but would'nt say no to a set of new retreads.

but i would like to question the point of this thread (not saying its pointless, just wanting to know what i should reply to)

give him a break, theres more people wasting our tax money on worse stuff than burnouts out there. and atr least hes looking for a job, unlike most dole bludgers (no harm intended to those on the dole for good reasons).

hang on, tr3nt, isn't your gearbox shagged? burnouts won't do any good for a stuffed box, and if you did get $ for another, take it easy, coz like you said, you're unemployed.
and on the subject of unemployment, not to sound like a parent, but have you considered moving away from your current area? I did that twice just to get work when I stuffed my back.
    Just a suggestion

i just don't trust retreads. for a lousy 10 bucks more i'll have normal tyres thanx. and atleast he's not blowing his money on drugs but both are dangerous and illegal.

For one, yeah, I might be doing a bit of tyre frying with the retreads thus why going to them.

Second, Where i'm at for jobsearchign, I have an extremely high chance of having a particular job within a fortnite, until then, I ain't changing anything in the way of tread.

Third, Yeah, im on benifits, but the money from those benifits is going on Fuel to get to "job search training", phone bills and car loan payment.

By the way, my transmission has been replaced.

shut up mate, i dont see you bitching about the polies spending our tax money on cars for their fat lazy asses, and building big houses for themselves, etc, etc.

you pay taxes, it goes to all sorts of people that do all sorts of things with it. you dont want tr3nt getting his car repossessed and then not being able to look for jobs as easily, then you'll bitch at him for not looking for work at all.

if you're so worried, stop paying taxes. simple.

This is a commodore forum not a bitch about polies forum. If you wanna know that shits me aswell but if you look at it, there is public transport and other forms to get around, walk or bike. Its just another B/S excuse to bludge. If you had any self respect you would know that working for money is better than any hand out. Defend him all you like but if he blows money on tyres he may aswell be doing drug. Both are a complete waste of time. So pull ye f***ing head out ya arse and stop blabing in a forum that your on the dole but looking to do burnouts!~!
