    Default I'm sick of it

    I'm bloody sick of it!

Each day around 5 o'clock in the arvo a Soarer and a Skyline drive up my narrow road (which is a 50 zone) going well over 80kmh. Both are turbos and both are FULL liscence drivers!
I'm bloody sick of seeing it every single day while there are young kids walking around on the footpaths.

I'd go with telling the cops. Get some other locals to call in as well, they should set up a speed trap.

I have told the cops in the past but theyre still driving up my road. I also told them about a bike that exceeds 100kmh every single day but nothing happens. I wouldnt mind tying a string up.

Yeah that would be smart, this happened to my father quite a few years back, except it was a rope. 6 months later he was released from hospital. 2 years later he could drive again. 30 years later he still suffers from pain in his shattered hip.

in sa we have sings just after a speed camera that says speed cameras save lives. if you have something like that in your state put one on your road. thatll scare the shit out of them.

Or he could stand in the middle of the road, pull his pants down and chuck a brown eye.

    That should scare them.

I don't actually agree with an oil slick, but at my old house it seemed to be the only way to stop idiots drifting out of a side street right past me house. sadly I never did it.
