what the hell!
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
This is one reason why ebay sucks. I can't bid on VK parts half the time because people are bidding 10 times more than what I want to pay.![]()
Seems resonable to me. You are failing to notice its BRAND NEW! Finding new parts for a car that old is quite hard, and if you have just spent $15K doing up your car and thats one of the last things you need to complete it.........
Just because you dont want to pay that much, doesnt mean it isnt worth that.........

Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
still seems crazy for a small peice like that!!!!
thats mad.
E.P.A .. Emo Patrol Australia.. We'll Make Your Life Hell <-- Add this to your signature for EPA domination!
Chuck Norris won 'Jumanji' without ever saying the word. He simply beat the living shit out of everything that was thrown at him, and the game forfeited.
It isn't worth that. Full stop
The word is you can still source it from some dealers throughout Australia for its original price of 80 dollars.
But just recently a heap sold on ebay for 550 or so.
It's definately not worth it though, you can buy a second hand one for 30-40 dollars, you can redo the pinstriping and tidy it up for about 20-30 dollars. So I don't see why people would waste that much money on it.
More money than brains. Full stop.
$960!:my:
Holy hell.....
I doubt they would actually pay - a new member with 0 feedback?
Hey we all started on there with 0 feedback at some stage..........Originally Posted by jack.mcintyre

If I was the seller, I'd be very worried if the buyer with zero would pay up.Originally Posted by AirStrike

But for it to be at that price means there's at least 2 people willing to pay that much for it, it's OK if one person wants it for $900 but if no one else bids that much it won't go up

Yeah that's called shill bidding. Not directly because it's the seller that registers another user, but it's still shill bidding and I hate it. It makes auctions crap and ebay take shill bidding seriously and suspend/de-register people for it.
Were you bidding $1000 for stuff with 0 feedback?Originally Posted by AirStrike
i love the fact that he takes this $1000 piece of plastic out of the original bag just to put it on the ground to take a picture...and in the other one he leaves it in the bag to take a pic on a seat...surely he has a bench to put it on or something...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
But the seller didn't think he'd get a grand for it. I personally wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for it if I wanted it. There is so many desperate frantic bidders on ebay and they spoil my hopes half the time. Some people have more money than sense.
He has another one for sale. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....SI_PR4_PCN_BIX
I guess he figured that the one he sold for $960, he would start the bid for this one at 500 bucks? What the hey?
He's bringing in $$$$
i started bidding on things with 0 feedback at around $500... I mean everyones gotta start somewhere and the only reason i joined ebay was to get that thing for that priceOriginally Posted by jack.mcintyre

wheres he getting the garnishes from?
people stop saying that damn word "Garnish" ;ol , Or ill Garnish the lootta u's.
thats about the goin rate for a genuine vl calais 'GARNISH' GARNISH GARNISH'
but i would personally get a 2nd hand one and re do it.. bit of dodgy same effect![]()
I saw hsv vl group A SS SV (walky) interior go for more than $3000.
Vl calais parts are getting harder to come by and the aftermarket parts don't fit very well (if at all). But its a bit much really. I got my berlina tailights and berlina garnish for $35 the lot and it is all genuine.
