Well As you'll all probably see on the news Monday night and in the paper tuesday there was a fatal accident involving a vn v8 on main north rd at 1pm near black top road intersection HILLBANK.
The Driver Mitchell McCabe died on impact and his passenger got out of the car in good shape considering the car was in half and the section he got out off was upside down several meters away from the rear... But later on the pasenger a good mate of mitchell's is in a critical condition with bleeding in his head.... The impact was soo bad it had torn the gear box out of the engine and the engine covers as well as the bonnet and front bumper were several meters down the road.... It happened just a minute from my house... i went to check it out.... and it was him.... we were ment to cruisethis is by far the worst accident i have ever seen...... such a huge impact when its someone you know.... and you wisht they wernt so stupid..
Mitch was known for coming on a few cruise's. Those that came to CCSA would have seen him in his VN 5L 5 speed...
When i first meet mitch he became a mate. Its a shame how his life has come short being only 17.....
This accident was caused by dangerous driving in wet weather and speed.... i hope this is a message to all drivers to take care....You will be missed............ RIP MITCHELL

It sounds f***ed up. RIP to a young bloke who never got to live his life, and learn a lesson from what could of been a accident he could of walked away from, shame that he had to die for us to think to ourselves momentarily to slow down.
Reports are he was doing 140kph in a 60kph zone, lost control and hit the traffic lights.Originally Posted by stocky
He will no longer be cruising with SA clubs, such a sad waste of life.
Let this be a lesson to those who like to put the foot down once in a while.. will you be the next RIP topic?
A parent should not have to bury their child. Condolonces to all his family.

The problem is Sashyre, no one ever learns from these things. I had a friend who lost his brother in a stupid accident(speeding lost control hit a pole) you would think it would prevent you from doing it yourself. 3 years later he is now a paraplegic after losing control and rolling 3 times into a traffic light...too many people forget they are in a lethal weapon.
1488 mate, n may your journey thru the afterlife be a pleasent one.
SALUTE
my1stVL Nah wasnt the one with 19s... he just got the vn had 5 spoke 17's at the front... hmm stockies at the back
The Driver Mitchell Macay died on impact and his passenger got out of the car in good shape considering the car was in half and the section he got out off was upside down several meters away from the rear...

This accident was caused by dangerous driving in wet weather and speed was a major factor...... he was on main north road 80/km zone doing 160 and impacted at 140 dragging a 200sx,
I hope this is a message to all drivers to take care not only whilst on cruises but on the road, and even if there are no other cars around.. you can still miss judge something and cause a major disaster....
Remember your driving a massive amount of weight behind your accelerator, and you can put yourself and others at risk...
You will be missed by many............ RIP MITCHELL

my condolences to his family, especialy his parents, as it has been said before, no parent should have to bury their kids, it's the other way round.
my thoughs are with the passanger, hope he pulls threw
And more sadder is that the passenger sounds like he is very critical, not only does he take himself out, he maybe taking his mate with him oh so sad. I don't wish to sound like a heartless person here but it is really pathetic in a way, what a selfish individual. Your right about never ever learning from it until it happens to you by then its too late, you have learnt you lesson because you will never make that mistake again as you will be D E A D! Let me have a wild guess here...he was another P plater statistic..geez.Originally Posted by Garth

My condolences go to the family.
I hope the driver of the other car now realizes the dangers of street racing.
I totally agree, even been there myself. Hear this stuff or have someone close to you involved in a high speed incident and for a while you drive like a nanna.Originally Posted by Garth
Sad thing is testosterone will eat you everytime, when you at the lights and some guy next to you is giving you the eye, your mate's in the car and the stupid part of your brain kicks into high gear.

Sometimes the passenger is not happy, but too afraid to say anything for fear of being teased later by his/her peers when the driver says he/she was asked to slow down. It's not cool to be scared.Originally Posted by minux
I have drummed into my kids that if they ever feel unsafe in a car, say something and get out, no matter what the consequences are later. I only hope they listen to me, I don't want to answer the door to see a cop standing there.
