hmmm just thought id post up that just near my town, well about 20 k other side of lakes i was driving my old mans car as mine aint going, pull up at an interection and the car in front of me gives it to it and pulls out right as this blue car runs right into the side.
i jumped out and called the ambo's and the car that ran into the side of it was a origanal group a vn, i mean this car looked sweet, the guy was moving fine so i helped him out taking note that the car only had 15,000 k's or so, i mean this vn looked almost brand new, other then the damge.
i talked to the cops and the guy for awile and he confirmed that it was a brand new group a, well not new but only a once a month drive, unfortanetly it was a total right off as the 6 speed had come through the centre console and broken in man spots, and the v8 was in even worse condition
poor guy, but he said he was guying to keep it. fortanetly no one was hurt bad, as for the other car it was some jap crap and i was amzed it held up to the blow, although it was on its roof
oh that is not a good way for a group a to go out

You said the car that ran into the side was a VN group a, yet you say the same car was also blue...what VN Group A was blue?
i said the car that hit the side of the one infront of me was blue, as i didnt no it was a group a, i only noticed it was blue at first, the one in front was gay arse greeny colour, the car in front of me gives it to it and pulls out right as this blue car runs right into the side.
edit, i just read that u mean wat group a came out stock blue? well i dont no i just know it was a mettalic dark blue, might not be stock paint but i dont see why u would paint a origanal group a, maybe he liked blue more...
the only dark blue metallic colour on the VN was imperial blue. forumla blue was more of a medium blue but not metallic
Maybe it was one of the rare 3 car SV5000's?![]()
VN SS Group A's came out in Durif Red. there were two painted black from factory and they were given away at bathurst in a competition and there was one painted white from factory as a media demonstrator.
man that musta been a fast hit to put the jappa on it's roof...

Correction. There were 300 durif red Group A's and two Cherry Black ones, BUT they were painted durif red from the factory, as indicated on the build plates.Originally Posted by EcotecManiac

well he would have hit at around 100 id say, and maybe the guy was bullshitting to me, but then again why would u do that, and plus who sticks a 6 speed in a group a unless they really wanted to make it origianal, but ohwell, i just found it quite classic as a commy hits a rice burner... or jap crap as i called it

i 2was thinking of asking him if he wanted to sell it in in parts and grap the 6 speed, but by the look of it id say it was ****ed, unfortanelty
Hey People this post doesn't have much to do with anything , but check this original HRT Formula Group 3 . Pretty jazzy aa lol.
Very Sporting,I love my white wheels and sporty seats
Ecotecmaniac is 100% correct there was 1 white vn group a produced, 2 black ones and the rest (300) were durif red.
Then why is it the two HSV references in front of me (from HSV, not another sourse) list the build quantity at 302?
Where is this white one then? Never seen pics or references of it................
