Need help - Those handy with the sowing machine or upholsters
Ok to finish tidying up my interior I need to replace the dodgy handbrake cover (vinyl, and its all torn) so im looking for an upholsters or any one handy with a sowing machine!
I can supply the orginal as a template if needed. Is to be made from either white vinyl or leather.
Reason I ask is I know materials for this sized item would be hardly anything yet holden want over $100 for the factory ones............

I enquired about a handbrake lever boot cover for a VS Calais recently... they quoted me under $60.

How much drama is it to post one of these handbrake covers interstate? Does the cover need a zip? Post a pic and I will see if I can help you.

Yes needs a zip. Even if it was under $60 that is still a huge amount for some vinyl! Hell I can buy like 9 square meters of it from work.

I took mine off when cleaning the console with a leather cleaner... and I just never bothered putting another back on.

Is the zip you have white? If you can supply the zip that comes with it andthe template I can get the white vinyl. (i dont have any white leather as I mainly work with canvas on boats) I'm happy to knock it up for free if it works out to be cheaper for you to do it this way.
