Non of the admin/mod guys have any probs. We have sorta hit a snag with the new site so for now we updated to the latest version of vBulletin.

That's rather rude of you, seeing as you're not gramatically proficient enough to string together an internet post without numerous glaring errors. It would appear that you need more experience with the English language, as you're not very good with it

I dont see anywhere in that announcement that says the security settings need to be dropped. Also that list of things to do was put up from when we initially had problems, which we havent had in quite some time.

i use the site on 2 different computers. one old one new, one running mozilla one with IE and no problems. mind you i know nothing about computers which seems to work in my favour bacause i dont screw with anything and make a mess of random settings.

but as for the issues with i.e. or motzilla or firefox, i have never seen any issues since we changed over to the new board. no-one is playing with the codes on the forum yet, hate to say, without it sounding rude, but id say the issue might just be at your end. have a little play with it a bit and see what it says. as for the having to log in each time, make sure you tick on the remember me thing when you log in, otherwise it wont remember you, it's a security feature

Those javascript errors are certainly 'normal' well as far as normal can be.

I haven't been approached regarding problems as such, nor have I experienced any issue's to which you are explaining.

Constantly having to login are usually cookie based issue's whether it be browser, firewall, or that trend micro rubbish found on many different adsl modem / routers.

As for mucking with code I don't do any of that unless I am upgrading the forum which hasn't happened for a couple of months now I reckon, even then it's very limited as I simply don't code and don't claim to be a coder.

With regard to the new site, as stated previously that has been put on hold, I think someone has had cold feet when they realised how big the site is.
