if you HAD to rice/do up a JAP import car, what sort of car would you use and what would you do to it?
id chose a mitsi 3000GT VR-4/GTO twin turbo. id pick it only cos you dont really see many of them on the roads. skylines, WRX's and such have been done to death, everyone has one or knows someone who does.
and as for doing it up, id keep the body pretty much standard (cos they look hot already) and spend shit loads on the engine. fugg the rice kits, id want it to go fast before it looked like a ricer. id chuck on a nice set of 20s though, and have the fulleh sik stezza bro

Honda NSX without a doubt![]()

Ecotec VP, 135rwkw, 427nm
Nice pick troy. i'd have one too but seeing you've already said it........ummmm, i wouldn't mind a turbo MR2. I like the bodylines. like you i'd work its nuts off first.
bah @ NSX being said already.
Um, Supra or WRX STi would be my pic, the rex because it already goes and will out handle any commy on here (and more engine/turbo work it would hopefully hammer even more) and the supra because i like the looks and with a bit of work and a few mods will look and go great.
Having said that back int he real world id buy a clubby before either of them
Toyota Supra. My family is big on toyota's as they are trouble free and i have a few mates with supras and they go hard.
Oh and NO crappy bodykits, i would have LESS lights than a christmas tree and none of those stickers all over my car!!
ae86 corolla. takumi power.

walking the tightrope between good and evil
I'd do a series 6 rx-7, run a 20b twin turbo setup, mmm 9 second street. It's actually one jap car i want to get my hands on when funds permit. I miss my old rotaries, nothing like going down calder at 130 mph sideways.
Skyline GTR RB26DETT AWD....need I say more?
(altho the S6 RX7 20B sounds good linux!)
Mitsubishi Evo 6.5 Makinnen edition...
It's got style, class, and ass. It goes hard from the box, loves playing on tarmac, and plenty of fun to boot on the loose stuff. Absolute machine in a straight line, and you just can't shake them loose in a corner.
I'd also be working that 2.0L even harder!
As for the 3000GT, not a bad looking car, although on the obese side with weight, and very LITTLE aftermarket support
LOL mate this coming from a guy that drives a common commodore? But yes they are very rare... theres also a reason for it... they are not that quick and kinda dont go as well as cheaper imports such as GTRs or Supras.Originally Posted by Troy711

Gotta love a rotary, the 20b sounds sweet, but so expensive, id be aiming for a series 5 in silver, with a supercharged 13B, probably almost as expensive as teh 20B, but the 20B is second in line for the series 5, or a GTR skyline, maybe a MA70 supra
I'd take the Lexus V8 running gear and find the smallest Jap body it would fit and go from there.

I saw a video where they put a Lexus V8 into the IS200 and it screamed. they are talking of actually puting it into production.
would have to go a worked series 6 rx7. bros mate has a couple of them and they sound, look and go so nice. although same guy has a 20b cosmo and its nice as too. if commodores didnt exist i would be a rotor boy.

i'd go with a evo6, nice simple car with the only big problem being that its thirsty and if your in the wrong gear it doesnt have the balls to take off without its ever trusty turbo
second choice would be a r34 nur, they are a great car off the floor and i figure a couple of small mods will keep me very happy
attn Über geeks, i play Second life. Patrio Graysmark.
By far i'd take an R32 GTR, partly coz most of them over here are 33's, that and the 32 is shit hot, and for around $15k outa japan who can argue?

Validates my first post if money was no object and I wanted something different.
Otherwise I'd have to go with a Skyline, WRX (Jap Spec 255kW) or Liberty 290kW American and Jap spec for possible production in 2007.

nissan 180sx or 300zx![]()
I'm sticking with NSX, black, low.
This isn't my ideal choice, but its close to the one I've seen that I want it to look like, just shinier rims and lower.
Or I'd get a StageA
And do something like this too it.
Oh, or a 180, black or silver.
There's a 1UZFE sitting in an MX-5 and most likely being bought out in production.
stagea for the win ^^^^^^
