    Default Gun laws...

    dont worry, shouldn't be too controversial...

    Just had a week in Hamilton Island (very awesome), where they have a gun range. You could fire .44 revolvers, 9mm Glocks, 12 gauge shotguns, custom .303 pistol - you name it - as soon as you hand over the cash..

    No paperwork, no insurance or disclaimers, they didn't even know my name! When I did shooting with school I had to do exams, they knew EVERYTHING about me! So what are the laws in Queensland???

    the thing is, you were in a range, not a shopping centre or highschool.

    Yea its different if its on a range, apart from that i belive that all gun laws have been standised between the states.

    Who elce hear has a gun licence ???

    its cheaper and easyer to avoid that part

    yeah pretty much...
    hammo actually used to have more guns than they have now, a few uzi's etc, but they got knocked off and used to rob the local westpac on the mainland.....

    well my dad is really high up in the gun seen. He shot i nthe paralympics and his one of the managers or something at the belmont rifle rang. BY law they have to sight your gun licence before allowing you to shoot. you must then fill in some paperwork. If you dont have a gun licence then you have a shoot load more of stuff to fill out. Basicallt they need to no your name, address, age etc etc etc.. The law is quite striced on it so if they got caught.. whoopa chang they would be forked over and prob have there licence taken off them.

    Thankns for reminding me mate i gotta go to the cop shop today and hand my paper work in for my gun licence.

    just incase people didnt know... this friday is the 10th aniversary of the port auther shootings. suck dogs nuts martin bryant, i hope you rot in hell for what you did... you deserve to be stuck in a prison cell with no human contact by yourself for the next 50 pathetic years you may be alive...
