Nokia 7250 require help

OK I don't ask too much but I need some Help!!!

Got myself a Nokia 7250 on AAPT and I got some pictures on it I took at the WA V8's on Sunday. The Waps (what the f*ck is that anyway) is on but I have no idea how to get the pictures off of the phone into my email address. :b:

Any idea would be good so that I can take the pictures and post them here.

you might need to call your teleco and enable MMS sending and receiving. then i think you can send an MMS to an email address or something. not too sure but this is how my mate does it. plus i think it costs you 4 X sms to send 1 MMS

Step 1: Hold phone in right hand about 2 inches from face.

Step 2: Swear at phone loudly for about 30 seconds.

Step 3: Throw phone at wall

Step 4: Consult the user manual.

8. found out I need a cable or someshit IRA or is that IR connection.
9. Ringing AAPT 2morro.
10. Had enough looking up web sites for one day...stick to www.justcommodores.com as it has all I need....even a Charlee !!!!

IR is your Infra Red connection, the phone has it, computer wouldn't unless its a flash laptop.. Software should have come with the phone though. Depending on what cable you get, genuine nokia ones can be a bit exy, go the IR if you can.

yeah, only decent laptops come with the infra red port. your best bet is to get your mms settings and email settings activated on your phone through your telco, and then you can send it to your email addy. otherwise bextor is rite, you'll need a data cable. fun!

ring aapt and get MMS and Wap activated.......create a new MMS and then when you send select send to email....put in you email and then send.....data cable is prob the easyest way though gets straight to your PC

i have a DKU-5 for my 6610 and it doesnt work with my mates 7250i. could just be his phone or computer. plus i havent found a way to download pics off the fone to the PC

I was uploading/downloading images from my gallery on my 6100.. worked fine.

Have no Idea what lead it takes, it is a 7250i what ever difference that makes and it makes the speakers on the computer do a little song thing !

Can't get threw to AAPT wilst on the computer cause the wife thinks I don't deserve Broadband cause I stuffed the computer....ooops!!!

Thats a nice phone. I am a computer tech so I know how phones work with them.

Firstly, if you don't know what WAP is, you wont use it so DONT subscribe to it, they charge shitloads for it.

The cheapest and by far the easiest way to get the photos is to get a DKU-5 cable. You should be able to get them from Harvey Norman or one of those mobile phone shops that are everywhere for less than $50.

All you do then is connect it to your computer. You should get a CD with the cable, but if you dont go to http://www.nokia.com.au/nokia/0,,42257,00.html and download PC Suite (it will take up to two hours to download over dial up though).

Then you run that program, plug in your phone and you can download your photos, arrange your phone book and all sorts of other crap. Have fun.

it takes a couple of hours ring you telco talk crap they will say send mms to yourself twice and it should work after that

OK gave AAPT a ring they told me I have already got them to send the two messages to my phonw and that everyone is right in that I would be best with a cable. Got a hookup at Ebay and bought a cable that is some suit thing ready for $20, might be a waste of money but comes with the drivers etc and money back g'tee so should be OK. Wilst I was on Ebay I picked up a disc for $6 inc postage with a hundred games and a whole heap of ringtones. I'm going to pay for them tomorrow so will let you all know how I go then!

Oh I also have a bid on about 100 Game boy advance and colour games, If I win the lot I'll have to sell them on as I just got into trouble by the wife about how much me and the kids are on the computer, tv, sony, game boy advances and the chick next door....just kidding about that last one!!! She's f#cking ugly!!!

Let you know how I go, I'll keep the cable in mind in case this ones a dud, witch for the price it just might be!

I don't know if the non genuine cable will work with the Nokia software, thats why I paid my arm and leg for mine.

But you should be able to track down software on the net anyway or, we will for you if the need arises.

i bought one of those CDs too and 90% of the ringtones didnt work. the one i got was advertised as having games with it... which it didnt. so i just downloaded a game package from winMX whic had cool games on it. worth a look, and its free!

OK update......

Got the cable for $27 including postage.

Got a disc with heaps of ringtones (90% work anyway) lots of shit games, some crap extra's and a few real good pictures of CILTEF's (chicks I'd like to extra F*#k) for $8

Once I opened my eyes and read the instructions and loaded the software WITHOUT the cable connected it worked a treat. i can now download/upload all the pics/ringtones/etc I want for zip, zero, zilch. Fan####ingtastic!!!
