I don't want this to turn into some massive fight about religions, or a who's right and who's wrong.. it's just a simple poll with two choices! Feel free to post, but you damn well better be respectful of others opinions! lol

I vote no...some quick reason's.

I beleive in myself, i don't need to beleive in anything else.
There is no proven evidence any god exist's, yet alot of evidence backed up by science to prove any god doesn't exist.
Every religion seem's to want "donations" at some point.
Why beleive in a religion when there is over 5000 religions across the world, thats alot of god's.

I have no problem with people believing in something other than themselve's, but i despise people who preach it, same as i despise people who try and make religious people not beleive.

Religion is a family thing, most religious people beleive in religion simply because it was taught so by their parent's. Other's beleive in it because at a low in their life the church gave them someone to talk to when no one else would listen.

I'm with you on that one, I'm going to watch it like a hawk.. and I agree with your POV, it should be a thing where you want to be a part of it, not pressured or persuaded into it.. strangely the way things are going (TV, radio.. I head them doing some Jesus thing on Fox FM I think), there might not be as much religion in the future as there was/is now, but as long as parents are getting their kids into it, it will go forever

Myself, I voted no.. I don't think they're right, religions I mean.. I'm a very scientific type person, I need to see things to believe them, I guess I just don't have faith, but it's hard to believe stories from some 2000+ year old books (or 4000+ for some others)

Over all i dont believe in religion as such, but i do believe in some sort of "greater power", that things happen for a reason. Karma, etc.

I beleive in a parallel universe, to keep thing's in check, but once again it come's from a more science standpoint.

I'll be the odd one out an say yes. I go to church on ocassion, I pray for my parents health to improve every night.
I'm Ukrainian Catholic, Church I attend is in North Melbourne.

That saying is kinda stupid, it can be used in 1 billion different context's. If there is a god then i ams ure all people who have lived their life honestly will go to heaven, wether they beleived and went to church or just beleived or didnt beleive.

You started off by enforcing your beliefs on others... like you have some devine wisdom trying to put a fear of God into others who dont believe.

Finding God is a personal experience for those that choose to search... people dont need chastising for what they believe in. Otherwise you will find defences and walls put up straight away...and thats the root of how wars start.

i am losing my beliefs in religions. there are too many off shoots and different churches springing up all over the place. how ever i do believe in God and having a relationship with him. enough said......
