who here listens to Hardstyles? not trance, not house, not hard house but Hardstyles...the likes of DJ Zany, Alphatwins, Pavo, Pila, Showtek etc... even Nik Fish and John Ferris (the new hard nrg cd is phat as)

my question is, are there any doofers/ravers/shufflers out there in JC land? if so, where we all at and are we goin to Pharmacy on the 26th May...

i used to.... but grew out of it. now i think most hardstyle is shit.

tech-trance is where it is at. marco v is teh awesomeness. i saw him last year with benjamin bates and mauro picotto... best night EVER!!

I'm going to Amsterdam, Sensation Black this year, so yes I like harstyle, even though it's got kinda shit lately. Much more of a hard trancer now. I'll be at pharmacy though =)

Spyper, your goin to sensation, damn you! Ill agree with the fact the music hasnt been that good of late, but some of the gigs have gone off, Pharmacy - down with the sickness went off, proteus, walt, derb, showtek that was a rager indeed. pharmacy will go off i reckon, Zany is playing so that is something to look forward to. Randy Katana is a bit of a tripper, plays some funky shit.

Yeah im into the rave scene, went to Mayhem up in brissy with Alphazone there, and lots of other talent ranging from Hardstyle djs, to happy hardcore, hardtrance and so fourth, silly kid oD'd himself

Whats the rave scene like up in qld? its quietened down, down here in melb a bit. its going through a change, from "bass station" stylings, melbourne is becoming alot more "house" orientated, which is a pain in the arse but you get over it. We got Pharmacy and DJ Zany coming down here on the 26th may. gonna go off

I used to be die-hard bass station a couple of years back. Then moved over to bubble less regularly, now I only go to the main events like pharmacy and stuff.
Zany is playing at sensation too =)

I'm looking forward to randy katana the most, only one I haven't really seen. I missed him play In Silence at kryal in december cuz I was out in the carpark. That's the only song I wanted to hear at kryal haha.

yeh i dont really remember much of kryal, except it was ###n cold when we got there. im pretty sure i had a good night, hellraiser was mad...started off a bit psy-trancey but then brought it back to hardstyle. ive never heard randy katana, ide never heard of him untill i saw the flyer to be honest. who else is playing sensation black?
i just wana go out in germany or holland... to see pavo, pila, alphatwins, technoboy...###n would love to see them play. missed technoboy last time he was here, he played in geelong to about 400 ppl apparently, thats it, 400 for technoboy.:b:

Yep, and I was there. Zany also played in Geelong while pharmacy was on the night before. Could NOT believe that. Zany in the country at the time of pharmacy and they didn't get him. Instead, my cousin asked one of the promoters at geelong to try to get zany and they did.

Who else is playing at sensation black this year?
i emailed alphatwins about 3 weeks ago to tell em to get their arses to Australia, they actually replied and mentioned they are planning on coming hopefully "toward the end of the year" which would be good.

Coming from a bloke with Slipknot running through his avatar...hmmm...thats not ###t at all... they're a talented bunch arent they, let's scream into a microphone and pretend its singing, just mash on a guitar and pretend its a riff...the one thing i will say is the drummer is a nut...

you can say what you want about "doof doof", it is still, worldwide, one of the popular forms of music. when was the last time slipknot or a rock band had this (see attach), then again, all types of music is created within the same basic guideline, electronic or not...
