Hey, I just wanted to say hello to fellow GM rear wheel drive sedan motorheads! The CTS is on GM's sigma platform and I was wondering if Holden uses the same or similar platform? (I know "our" Pontiac GTO is a Monaro)
I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS with the 3.6 VVT engine, 5 speed automatic, luxury sport (17" wheels, better tires/brakes, no speed limiter with v-rated tires, and suspension upgrades). I've installed a Volant Intake, replaced the OEM dual exhaust with a Billy Boat (B&B) 2.25 inch cat back system. I'm planning on a set of Eibach or Hotchkis swaybars and some 225/45-17 front, 255/40-17 rear Goodyear F1 GS-D3's. I have the automatic because it's my commuter car and I already have a Black/Black 1996, LT-4, 6 Speed Corvette that's my other toy.
Has there been much work on the 3.6 VVT down under? All we can do so far is bolt on's like I described and someone is starting to sell a set of headers and free-flow cats as a kit (kind of pricey though)
