Angry Rice + Good cars in Bundy.

Saw a couple of riced up cars in Bundaberg yesterday, So rice isnt confined to the "Metro areas"
    They where,
An early 90's TR Magna 4 cyl, in below average condition, with a 5" cannon muffler on it. :b:

A stock standard red VN Executive with a V8 Supercar rear spoiler.

and an early 80's Mazda 626 with those silly chrome spinning wheel trims.

Thankfully this was all I saw.
But I felt alot better when I saw some hot looking Commodores, Including
A Black VT series II Gen 3 V8 SS
A Maroon VT ser II Gen 3 V8 Berlina
    A Couple of nice VL's
    A Smick VN V8 Berlina + 4 V6 Rodeo's

Well thats the end of my rant, Just thought Id let yas Know whats happening in my neck of the woods.

I'll second that about rice not being confined to metro areas, for years the Sunshine Coast per head has been the rice captial of Australia. For such a small population there's more rice than you could poke a chop stick at. There's always been a few quick cars but they just don't come out anymore due to either funds or over zealous legalities.

    haha spinners are classic,

its always great to see some random get out of a PoS car with spinners and noticing that they're actually spinner hubcaps on steelies.

    Pure class

Yeah, you have to pick and choose right when you go up the street to catch the decent cars...plenty of nice Commodores, Skylines, some interesting smaller Jap stuff, and, dare I say it, Fords, but sometimes it is just a load of wankers showing off...I believe I followed that Magna you mention the other day while out riding my motorbike...I was laughing to myself and thinking you could just about climb up there and do the valve clearences from the inside...

My personal favorite here in Bundy is the VN I have seen a couple of times, but never when I have a camera! It is a grimy white color, ill-fitting spolier and wing, steel wheels, standard height suspension, and grotty interior. However, the gem is that he has about THREE genuine HSV badges from about the VS-onwards models on at least the front guards and the bootlid...those damn things are something like $80 each from Holden!!!

Oh, and I saw a Ford Meteor yesterday...it had a wing of some description, totally standard, and with a front spoiler screwed onto the front of the car which was the entire front bar assembley from, I think, a Commodore of some kind...it didn't fit...it was way too wide, and it looked wank.

One thing I long to do is ask all those guys in Bundy who have a fiberglass hood scoop mounted right in the middle of the bonnet on things like V6 Commodores, Hyundais, 6-cylinder falcons, and the like, exactly what the hell is that scoop "feeding"? The airbox on all these modern cars is down near the front corner of the bonnet...so where is the air going that is supposedly being rammed in through that scoop way back in the middle of the bonnet?

    Cool mystery scoop...

yea mate..I have wondered about that...then I had a look at one close up.(me sons bosses Brockie Ute).it is only for show...there is no hole in it..it just sits on the bonnet......weird.....lol..
