Well I'm Indian.. My mum came to Australia when she was 5 and my dad came when he was 20..

So both parents have been in Aus for a shitload of time.. I was of course born here.. But I can speak another language..

Australian citizen though.. But I guess this wants to know roots..

I am 1/2 Scottish. My Mum is a Scot. On my Dad's side, 100 years ago there was a little bit of German and Italian thrown in which has been passed down... I have just a bit of that if you know what I mean.

Aussie born, irish mum scottish dad, they came here when they were but littlies and makes me one very confused person!
My wonderful partners Aussie born, italian mum polish dad and incredible good looks.
I work with croatians, most of my frineds are cro, maco, asian, italian, middle eastern, and of course aussies, and once I was accused of being racist???? Go figure eh?

I'm Aussie. My parents are Aussie. Their parents are Aussie. And so were their's. But if you go back a long way (we've been out here since the early 1800s) my Dad's side are 7/8 Irish, 1/8 German. Mum's side were poms I believe.

I disagree. My ancestory traces back to the first fleet, that's as Australian as it comes. Before that English/Irish/Welsh. Everyone had to come from somewhere before they country was inhabited.. because Australia is only 200 years old you have no right to say 'everyone came from england originally' because wherever you were from, was colonised by another country.
