Field goals should be banned. Sick of losing because of them.

Admittedly we played like trash, Lockyer was being a homo, Webb hardly got a run, Thaiday hardly got a run but didn't seem that explosive, our forward pack were too small. Thurston was fairly flat, Bowen was the only one that really impressed me and he didn't get many runs.

We didn't deserve the try where old mate kicked Buderis and scored the penalty, but there were a few calls that looked sketchy, Kings try in the corner was pretty damn close to a forward pass.

If we get our act together in game 2, if we can get a fight started in the first 10 minutes to fire us up. We should be right.

i hope the maroons win game 2 so then the game down here in melbourne will actually count for something...
i went to bed at half time on the tv (1030ish) coz i thought it was all over. 14-0 at halftime. mind you last year 19-0 but ah well...
im not fussed coz im a melbourne bot, but it was good to see kingy get a try, and set up finch for another. and inglis, who looked lost in the first half, overwhelmed even, to score in the second half is good. GO STORM!!!!!!!!
