Always love watching the soccer, especially when its us aussies against the world. Although both sides were'nt playing their best, I can understand that on the aussies point of view (try to minimize injuries, got one goal, just basketball the game near the end) I reckon Greece could've put up a stronger fight.

Nonetheless, good win! Gives me an excuse to have a few more beers before bed.

roos played really well last night and got the results, although greece was not playing up to their best,very sloppy passes ,alot of dirty play and not much group work(unlike the euro final),i didnt really go for any team as im half greek,lol,wasnt a very good game to watch tho, i found it boring, a game that will be good is brazil vs france on sunday SBS 2pm,brazil will want to give payback for the 1998 world cup finals goo brazil!!!!

i don't mind soccer, i hate the stuff that goes on with it. when greece won the world cup last time, there were cars of greeks hooning around darwin with flags and scarves all over the place, honking their musical airhorns and being generally loud and obnoxious.

i'd hope that if australia wins, we just crack open another beverage, throw some more snags on the barbie and say "yew bewdy" and then carry on with life.
