I like the one a while back about "home made" repairs and modifications, someone used allot of race tape to keep their door closed LOL. Another legend was the guy sitting on a milk crate. truly classic.

Biggest load of TRIPE!! I've ever heard! pulling over every hotted up car and yellowing/red stickering them because "We have to make the streets safe for everyone!".. what a load of BS!.. they're saying they're pulling over modified cars because there a menace on our roads! every time theres something on aca or today tonight.. its something different about why modified cars should always be watched out for .. and this episode.. have to do it to make the streets safer! pfftt cough! spew!.. granted there are idiots out there with a license to drive.. but where in the hell does it say need to pull over every modded vehicle because theyre a menace on our roads!! any car could be a menace in the wrong hands!.. typical stereotyping every modded car out there, calling them hoons!

didnt see it, but, not hijacking the thread, did anyone read that heap of rubbish in the sunday mail not long ago ? that made me laugh so hard, then i got disgusted, whoever wrote it was the biggest dipshit i have ever heard of, they should get someone who at least knows how to change a tire to write about CAR MODIFICATIONS. its so obvious they have no idea what they are talking about.
Im sick of the media hype around hoons, they should make it clearer what defines a HOON.

That is so close to th truth it isnt funny, how many stock as a rock big wheeled lowered on its nuts fast cars do you see driving on the road, most seriously quick cars on the road now are setup as sleepers because of these other morons.

Suits me fine, as long as im driving what looks like a stocky, i get flagged through, while the person with a slow loud big wheeled stocky rear tyre gets pulled over. Please keep doing t guys, i love nothing more than watching you at police setup's with your bonnet up while i drive through

i seen it and it really gave me the shits there so fussy about some things i didn't want to watch the crap but i did any way. oh it's just friggin frustrating fair enough for the actual hoons but not everyone is one.

I watched it and what pissed me off was that only modified cars where pulled up. I would say there are more roadworthy modified cars out there then there is roadworthy stockers. Its basic discrimination. They should either pull everyone up or no one.

This post will cause a major debacle, but **** it.

I must admit, I have had my fair share of toss-pot driving. YES, I've done burnouts, YES on public roads, YES I have "fishtaled"/"snakied" etc etc.. BUT I don't ever think I have done it in a manner where dangerous to a passenger, padestrian or other road user. I only had done it when there was no padestrian/road user around, and I haven't put my passenger (never done it with a full car) at any kind of dangerous risk.

Having said that, I would most likely look like a stereotypical hoon, However, is there anyone that can GENUINELY say they have never done a skid? never done anything stupid?

Since my court appearance for (co-incidently) "Careless Driving" I have calmed down my driving DRAMATICALLY. Sure, I have a very lightly Modified car, sure I attend Car club events such as cruises/meetups, but be damned if I will be a dick on the roads.

I refuse to watch TT or ACA because as said before its all BS. So no, i didn't see this story but i can just imagine how out of touch and narrow minded it was.

What annoys me more is that people like my parents watch these shows and take everything thats said for gospel. "TT said it, so it must be true"

I'd like to see a story about how current affairs programs are creating a nation of moronic Australians who don't know any better.

Did they have any stories about other shows on channel 7 or 9? Gotta love a bit of cross promotion.


If any one doesn't like TT or ACA, watch Media Watch on the ABC on monday nights. They rip shreads of TT and ACA because of their dodgy stories. I love it.
