Should i bend to better half's pressure and go see it or not??![]()
Opinions....
dunno, i read the book and loved it. id go just to spit at the idiot protesters outside the theaters....
I have seen the movie and read the book. Been a few years since I have read it though, so it didnt spoil the movie too much. I think the movie was actually done pretty well... but thats just my opinion.

ok well there is a big difference between the boiok and the movie. If you have read the book you will know that it seems a lot more real. Like its more believable as fact, and therefore you get into the story heaps. But when you watch it, its just like a movie. Like you dont get into the story as much. Personally if you have read the book, the movie will be shit. If you havnt read the book you will like the movie
Woot
i'm going to go see it after reading the book a year or two ago

book is great movie is great, i suggest to not read the book until you see the movie it needs a break in between
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
- Theodor Seuss Geisel
ps: Apparently they are making the movie of Angels and Demons, which in my eyes was much better than da vinci code

doesnt interest me in the slightest.
much rather watch Mad max for the 100th time!
I saw it because i wanted to be able to talk about it in group conversation or as an ice breaker etc (helps when in the business meeting world i guess).
I havent read the book and i liked parts of the movie however some parts were just too obvious and slow. It was the first movie in a long time that i actually checked my watch to see how long it had to go (twice).
The story itself is a good one, the way it was executed lacks a bit though, some twists/events are there just to make the story more interesting but you can see them coming from a mile away (well i could anyway).
For the sake of $15 go see it, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, but it definitely didnt live up to the hype (which is why so many people got pissed off)
Thats what everyone i know says, i think its because when reading a book your imagination can run wild and you make the story as exciting as you want it to be, a movie is just that, a movie, you have no control over the little details your mind thinks about.Originally Posted by giannetto

I quite liked it dont mind those movies with a little "treasure hunt in them" (me sounding like im 8) anyway yeah i would recommend it, i went kicking and screaming but once it started i was like yeah this aint bad and it only got better. Plus got me points with the missus!! So minux have you read the other book?? the angels and demons or what ever it is??
