Hi guys,
Well.. I think I am giving up the whole car love thing for a good while..

Had a nasty incident tonight.. lost the car in the wet on a bad bit of road (cfs guys said 10 cars crashed there in the last 5 years, exact same spot, same story)... ended up on its roof.. total writeoff of course. I was very lucky to get out with only a few minor cuts. The roof was well smashed in.. the only thing that saved me from worse was my seatbelt, which caught me and stopped me flying into the dash, roof, etc,,, WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!

I do not seem to have much luck with these things, so i am going to be taking a break from cars and probably find myself on here much less often. I get pm's via email which i do check regularly so i can be contacted there..

I must say thanks to all those that have helped me enjoy my time here, and those who have helped me with the car, you all know who you are, there's a fair list so I wont embarrass everyone here

Anyway, thanks to everybody, and I may catch you back on here some time in the future.

It's insured for agreed value.. so no stresses there at least.. but I don't think I'll be re-investing in a new car any time soon.

I'll pop in from time to time... but yeah I won't be living here like I seem to now, just need to give it all a bit of a break.

Can i ask where that happened? i cant make it out from the pics, but how did you manage to roll, if you dont mine me asking? it was a bit wet in some spots tonight, i did notice that when i was out. At least your ok. Good luck with everything mate

coming up a hill and around a bit of a curve...

driving quite normally for once.... back decided to pop out.. sent me into an embankment (road is cut through the hill very slightly)... picked up one side of the car and threw it over...

by the end of it i was facing the wrong way and upside down...

Going through bridgewater,, if anyone knows it,, heading up the hill towards mazda etc. There's a nice big rip in the side of the embankment for anyone going past...

I know the feeking, driving normally and righting it off... you ask why it didn't happen when dooing burnouts or driving like a tool....

Isn't that the second car you've killed in a year? either really bad luck or time to take the bus for a while . It hasn't rained much lately so the roads are pretty grimey. I'm sure the super 6 will live on for many years in another body, sit down have an orange juice and be happy you still have yours

I'd suggest complaining to the council about the condition of the road if it was such a contributing factor - ask the CFS guys to back you up if they can. Might stop this happening to someone else's pride and joy

CFS guys already have on a few occasions.. it's a federal road (used to be a highway) so the council won't do jack.. federal roads say its not their problem...

Gonna take someone getting killed before they do anything... just glad it wasn't me..
