Has anyone on the forums seen these on a commy and if they have pics could they please post... I'm not too sure how it would look on a holden sounds too big for my liking.
Sounds huge.. Just get a nice set of 18's or 19's..
Won't give you any trouble with the law..
22's would look friggin' ridiculous.
Way too big.
Would have to have an elastic band as a tyre on it. . . . .
Stoke my ego, click the scales!!!
Stoke it!!!!
LOVE IT!!!!!
Anyone got these? I'd say 22" does.
Apart from that, I'd say ridiculous, imo anything over 19 is overkill.
they do, 22s look absolutly stupid on a commodore. for more info check my thread in general about 'stupid things people say about commodores'.Originally Posted by TigerVX
i seriously suggest you do not get a set. get some 19s for half the price. or if you want big wheels go 20 max but nothing else
Check it out here
totally, patheticlly f*ck-tarded things people say about commodores
i think 22's would look good on a newer commy but the car cant be all wheels. it has 2 have the rest of the bling 2 go with it. but i would need body mods to make it sit like i want it. but its not impossable. ive seen a vn or vp with 22s on another forum and it looks like its built 4 it. it really looks good and not over the top. im all 4 22's
Fit with no mod's? Not a wheel/ tyre expert but what profile would the tyres be, 15's? Would sit very very low under the guards, yes?
says the lowest profile tyre for 22 inch rims is 30 profile
the tool beater that i know who has 22s on his VY has had it lowered and with the big wheels it doesnt look like its lowered at allOriginally Posted by vnberlwagon
boona: yes, 30 profile on 22s
doesnt someone on this forum have 22's on his vt clubby?
Jaysus! Imagine the weight of those things...you'd never want to run over a pebble in it otherwise you'd damage the f*cker.
22 inches strong? You'd need a double thickness alloy to stop them from kinking in the centre cause you've got no metal to oppose the bending forces from the outer rim. And so on and so forth...
Oh the wonderful things I could do to my car...
if I had more money, no kids, no wife, no second car, no job, no rent, nowhere to be, didnt need food, didnt need beer...damn.
My $0.02
that VL with the plates HSVSS looks retarded with those 22inch chromies on it...well thats my opinion, 18's - 19's looks sweet on a commy n e day...
cheers, Todd
VY works currently in PRODUCTION!!
Engine will still be sloow!!!!! ;-)
have you seen that car in real life? it is one fuggin imaculate car man. and its got the power to back up the show. it pulled 700 - 800 on the dyno at summernats... that was before they spilt fuel on the exhaust headers while trying to take a sample and almost burnt it to the groundOriginally Posted by vn88calais
if i can find some pics ill put them up
hey troy, well being in eastern states i obviously havent seen it as im a perth boy, but from what pictures i have seen in magazines and on the internet, yeah the paint job looks good and the engine is immaculate, but i just cant handle them big 22s on it, thats the bit that dissapoints me...
cheers, Todd
