No longer in control of my life.

Aslong as I can remember I have always taken charge of my life and controlled what I wanted in my life. But, today I have to put the future of my family in the hands of the US Governement Immigration Services. It's now 6:09am and at 9am I will be informed wether or not I have ben granted Citizenship of the United States of America. If I don't get it then I will be sent back to Australia with a bill for a plane ticket and will need to start working hard to bring my family back to Australia.

Wish me luck folks.....here goes nothing. Just gotta load about 6 bananaboxes full of documents then I'm outta here.

lol, hey guys, I'm still here and won't be returning to australia for sometime as we had planned. I havebeen granted citizenship in a round about sort of fashion..... They sent me a list of things I needed to bring to the interview and I brang them all. When I got there they say they approve of everything BUT can't give me citizenship until I bring everything on the OTHER list that they never gave me. Found out that they never give anyone that list until they get to their interview. So, I have been granted citizenship....I just don't have it yet.


Mind you it was very tempting to not tear the office apart as I was so pissed that they didn't send the second list with the first notice.

So everyone breathe easy...I won't be back to Australia for quite sometime to annoy you all...

The plans for Tasmania have been put on hold. We aregoing to stay here.
